I can reply without having to check on your second issue : the PFT problem.
the iAH interface is programmed to use the 'shortcut.pft' (in the PFTS folder of your databases) in order to invoke other PFT's which are 'called' from there. Mostly these are not available when you create your own databases. So you have to copy these from an ABCD demo-database (e.g. MARC) or, better in my view - since most of these additional shortcuts, to be displayed at the left-hand side of the record-display as 'additional functions', are not implemented, eg. the 'how to cite' links - by deleting or commenting-out all contents of the shortcut PFT. You can indeed just make if completely empty as then it will not try to call inexisting other formats.
Curiously the implementation of the shortcuts in ABCD has not received much attention or demand...

For your first issue  I hope Guilda Ascencio can check, but at times she is also fully limited by features of the underlying CISIS tools, like e.g. it is also not possible to edit any records larger than 16 Kb whereas officially the limit is either 32Kb or even 1 Mb with the large MST file option... Those are limits in CISIS and ISISScript which have to be checked by BIREME experts. Maybe we should shout louder for them to react ?

compliments of the new season.  am looking for  solutions to the following;

1.  filesize for uploading ISO files by default is 2M, when i change
it in php.ini to 5M it still cannot upload anything above 2M;

2.  IAH OPAC format error...when i search i get the results but does
not display records, gives me the following error  WISIS|execution
error|format syntax|@SHORTCUT IAH,'
